Investment advisory services are offered through IAMS Wealth Management, an SEC registered investment advisor. IAMS Wealth Management and MLA Financial & Insurance Inc. are independent of each other. The firm only conducts business in states where it is properly registered or is excluded from registration requirements. SEC registration is not an endorsement of the firm by the Commission and does not mean the advisor has achieved a specific level of skill or ability. The firm is not engaged in the practice of law or accounting. Content should not be viewed as an offer to buy or sell any of the securities mentioned or as legal or tax advice.
Information presented is believed to be current. All expressions of opinion reflect the judgment of the authors on the date of publication and may change in response to market conditions. All investments have the potential for profit or loss. Different types of investments involve higher and lower levels of risk. There is no guarantee that a specific investment or strategy will be suitable or profitable for an investor’s portfolio.
Annuity guarantees are subject to the claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance company. If you withdraw money from or surrender your contract within a certain period of time after investing, the insurance company may assess a surrender charge. Withdrawals may be subject to tax penalties and income taxes. Photos are used for the singular purpose of enhancing the website. None of them are photographs of current or former clients.
Recognition from the third-parties should not necessarily be viewed as a measure of customer satisfaction with an investment advisory firm. Third-party rankings do not guarantee future investment success. Working with a highly-rated adviser does not ensure that a client or prospective client will experience a higher level of performance.
There are no assurances that a portfolio will match or exceed any particular benchmark.
Insurance products and services are not offered through IAMS Wealth Management but are offered and sold through individually licensed and appointed agents. Compensation received by licensed insurance agents for the sale of fixed annuities and other insurance products are separate and distinct from fees charged for advisory services. Insurance products also contain additional fees and expenses.
The Certified Financial Fiduciary (CFF) designation is issued and governed by the National Association of Certified Financial Fiduciaries (NACFF). To attain the CFF, the adviser completed a one-day training course, passed an 80-question exam, and underwent a background check. The adviser pays initial fees for the training/exam and an annual renewal fee to maintain the designation. This payment creates an incentive to obtain and use the designation. The CFF is an educational certification and is not an indicator of the adviser's investment performance, quality of service, or client experience .
